About me
Karine Emmanuelle is a French actress with Mediterranean roots.
Born in Montpellier, South of France, and she always knew she wanted to be an artist. She started music school at the age of 4 before studying acting and dance. Her first real approach to a movie set was when she saw a scene filming for « Le Bossu » in Paris, at night, in front of Notre-Dame; she was 8 years old. Her will to become an actress came few years later, when seeing the Comédie-Française troupe performing in Paris: the way a group of people can bring a fiction to life and have hundreds, thousands, of people enjoying it at the same time, sharing the same moment, the same emotions. She was mesmerized. She currently resides in Los Angeles and has been studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse since 2015. Prior to that, she took acting courses at UCLA Extension, and at the famous Cours Florent in Paris.
Recently, (Psycho)Therapy a dark comedy short film that Karine starred in and produced, won two “Best Mobile Short Film” awards and keeps making its way on the film festival circuit.
